SACRED HEART PASTORAL COUNCIL MINUTES

                                                    April 16, 2015

                                                          6:30 pm

Present:  Matt Stucker, Dennis Theis and Father Warren Stecklein

Excused Absence: Sister Rebecca Otter, Mary Perez, John Kelty, Phillip Hammeke and Bernie Unruh

Guests: Dave Zecha and Tom Giessel

Opening:  The meeting was opened with a prayer led by Father Warren

Tom and Dave gave a brief report on the status of capital campaign. The question was brought up about naming the day chapel in the new building. The name “Holy Rosary” was suggested. The building committee and Father asked for the Pastoral Council to approve the name. Matt said that he would contact Mary Perez and John Kelty to get their opinions and get back with the council and Father.

There was discussion on the upcoming elections and a replacement for Michael Klemens as he has resigned his position on the council. It was suggested that members of the council give names of those they think might accept Michael’s position that runs through 2016. These names will then be submitted to Father in hopes for a replacement by the May meeting.

The meeting was concluded with a prayer.

Next meeting will be May 21, 2015 @ 6:30 pm
