The Larned Council # 3273 was chartered November 9, 1949, and is now in its 62nd year. As a council, we participate in many events. In January, we support pro-life with our annual baby shower in the back of the church. Each year we hold a free-throw basketball tournament. The first Thursday of every February is our annual Pancake and Sausage Supper, which is our biggest fundraiser. During Advent, we have several fish fries and help with extra church events. We give candy and gifts to children for Easter. Throughout May and October, we do the Rosary at church on Saturday nights. Also in October we have our Tootsie Roll drive for people with intellectual disabilities which helps with the Special Olympics in March. Each year, we adopt a seminarian, as well as help with PSR through donations and the use of our building. Throughout the year, we serve meals for events such as class reunions and weddings, help usher at funerals, and donate to persons (Catholic or non-Catholic) who have had a disaster.
